The Final
The Final is the closing part of The Science Challenge, and will take place on the 19th March.
The location of the Grand Final for 2013 will be the House of Lords. The top three competitors in each category will be invited to the final, and the winners of the competition will be announced.
The event will be attended by Our Judges, guests of Lord Winston, high-ranking Imperial College academics - including the Rector and Head of Natural Sciences Faculty, competitors and students of the College.
Prizes
This year's competition is kindly funded by the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Imperial College London. The tour of CERN is offered by past-RCSU President & Science Challenge Chair Dr Jad Marrouche.
Essay Competition
Imperial Students
The Overall Winner of the Science Challenge will this year receive:
- A tour of the World's largest Physics Laboratory, CERN, for them and one guest.
- Cash prize of £1,000.
There will be two runners up, each will recieve a:
- Cash prize of £400
Secondary School Students
The Overall Winner of the Science Challenge will this year receive:
- A trip to CERN, Geneva
- Cash prize of £500
There will be two runners up, each will recieve a:
- Cash prize of £200

The top three entrants in each category will receive an invite to The Final. The competitors won't know who the winners are until it is announced.
All winners will also receive an RCSU trophy.
